Aleksi: I originally composed this to be this 7-8 minute long progressive metal song. Even though the genre is now completely different it went through surprisingly few changes. Ray tweaked the sounds, changed the drum beat and removed the middle part from the song. We made only little adjustments after that. I really like this one. PS. This is the first song where we also recorded some instruments ourselves. PSS. Also, it’s always good to remind that you should make backup files. After playing around with the song we realised that the first draft was near perfect. Since we didn’t have a backup file from it we used a lot of time trying to find those sounds again. I’m glad we did.

Ray: This is the first song I started working on from the ones Aleksi sent me. It worked quite well with many of the transferred instruments, though I noticed that the second part of the song didn’t quite fit in with the sound so I had to remove it - it was just too METAL. I added the purposefully dusty drums and the dream was real. I don’t even know what genre to describe the song with and that’s the true magic of Seashore.
